I'm a senior product designer with 8+ years shaping digital products across 0→1 products, core experiences, growth and monetization, and platform. I care about the outcome as much as the interface: what changed for the user, and what changed for the business.
My path here was a bit sideways. I started with an audio engineering diploma from Middlesex University in London, but couldn't find work in the industry, so I pursued my other passion and enrolled in Interactive Design and Technology at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I made the Dean's List, tutored classmates, and taught myself development on the side. That combination of design and technical curiosity led me to my first startup role, where I was both designer and developer. Since then, I've worked across everything from early-stage products and complex platform problems to growth experiments and large-scale SaaS experiences. I've learned that my best work happens when I can get close to the problem, understand what is actually getting in people's way, and work closely with the people building it to turn that into something useful.
That curiosity has carried into how I work with AI. I've been using AI tools to explore ideas faster, prototype more directions, analyze research, and work through problems with my team. It's changed how quickly I can move from a question to something tangible, making it easier to explore more ideas, get feedback sooner, and spend more time on the decisions that actually matter.
Outside of work, I'm usually planning the next trip. Travel has taught me a lot about following a route while staying open to detours. Plans give you direction, but the best moments are rarely the ones you scheduled. That mindset carries over into how I design: have a strong point of view, hold it loosely, and let the evidence redirect you.
